Our environmental concern and the fact that we find ourselves here alone, made us devise solutions for our self-sustainability.
To produce energy, we invest in a photovoltaic plant that covers our needs in their entirety. The water that arrives at your table today is captured directly from the sea, from the “backyard” that surrounds us, and is then subjected to a process of desalination and purification by reverse osmosis.
Our story cannot be told in a few words, but boils down to a few: Love, Respect and Resilience.
1987
Our oasis is back!
In 1987, the first "Estaminé" was born, a result of our dream and courage to build something out of nothing. It was nothing more than a hut, located a little further north from where we are now, and it became the backdrop for many lunches, laughter, and happy moments that we and our customers will never forget.

2007
Reinvented in 2007, with sustainability in mind, the second "Estaminé" was born. Beyond the desire to create a structure that coexisted well with the landscape, our main goal was to preserve the environment, well-being, and magic of Ilha Deserta.

2021
In March 2021, the unimaginable happened when a fire completely destroyed our "Estaminé." The day after, amidst the pain of loss, the journey of rebuilding what was lost began again. It took five months of intense struggle from everyone involved, and in August 2021, the new "Estaminé" reopened, with improved conditions to welcome guests and a greater capacity to achieve sustainability and harmony with Ilha Deserta.
